3, 6, 9, damn girl fine, hoping she can sock it to me one more….Oh hello, didn’t notice you were there. I was just listening to one of my favorite jams on the new 9music player by Mobile Tin. Reminiscing the good ole days, when songs actually had meaning. Now lets turn this track up and get low, get low for today’s review of 9music.
With all the hype around streaming music these days, people are losing sight of the thousands of tracks they downloaded throughout the years, legally of course *cough*. 9music stepped in and does a great job of cutting out all the bloat and giving us a classic music player to enjoy our favorite hits.
9music encompasses all the necessary features a well put together music player needs, along with a simple, yet elegant design. 9music gives users multiple options when searching for a song, whether it’s by the track name, the album, the artist, or within custom playlist, you are sure to find the perfect song. The music player also includes a sleep setting that will come in handy for those of you who enjoy listening to music before bed. And if you want to change the song your listening to by shaking your device like a maniac, 9music has that too.
There are a few places 9music fell short when it comes to an everyday music player. Though the app offers the ability to create custom playlists, it would be nice to have the ability to add a song to a playlist while listening to the song rather than through the playlist menu. I also found hitting pause will start a song from the beginning when resuming play, but I’m sure this can be easily fixed with an update.
NOW STOP, then wiggle with it because 9music turned out to be a great music player with its elegant and easy to use interface. Although the pause bug may be a nuisance, the player itself has everything you need to rock out to all your favorites in your non-cloud based music library.
